1. Clarify Certification Requirements
Determine the type of certification based on the product's application and target market, such as the domestic Explosion-proof Certificate, Explosion-proof 3C Certification, or international certifications (e.g., ATEX Certification, IECEx Certification).
2. Prepare Submission Materials
Three categories of documents must be prepared:
Product Technical Documents: General assembly drawings, electrical schematic diagrams, list of electrical components, product specifications, enterprise standards, etc.
Enterprise Qualification Documents: Business License
Instructions for Submitted Samples: The samples shall be consistent with the technical documents, accompanied by the qualification certificates of explosion-proof accessories (if applicable).
3. Review of Drawings and Materials

4. Sample Testing
Send the samples to the laboratory for explosion-proof testing, including explosion-proof structure inspection, temperature group test, IP protection class test, etc. The testing cycle usually takes 2 to 4 weeks.
5. Factory Inspection (if applicable)
Factory audits are required for certifications such as the Explosion-proof 3C Certification, to inspect production equipment, production processes and quality system documents.
6. Review and Issuance of Certificates
After the samples pass the testing, the certification body will review the documents and issue the Explosion-proof Qualification Certificate or Explosion-proof 3C Certificate.
